Edition X — The Waves by Virginia Woolf

Volume I: The Wild Interior — Now Open

A monthly print, cut from a novel.
Edition IX — now open until the 20th

A papercut is made by hand — cut, composed, and translated into an archival giclée print.

Each work is cut from its source novel — not illustrating it, but inhabiting its world.

The print is signed, numbered, and revealed upon opening.

Volume I unfolds across twelve editions.

Each edition is revealed upon opening.

The Archive is designed as a private act of discovery. Each edition is revealed upon opening. It is never shown publicly before it arrives.

The Ritual

Each month, a new papercut is cut by hand.
It is printed as an archival edition, signed and numbered.

Archive moves forward one edition at a time.

Members who join hold a fixed place in the Archive — that number does not change.

Current Volume

Volume I — The Wild Interior

Volume I traces the interior world through twelve novels — One unfolding sequence exploring its landscapes, its solitudes, its territories of the imagination.

What Arrives

Each edition arrives as three objects.

  • A signed and numbered A5 archival giclée print — the edition image, revealed on opening.
  • A private letter from the artist on the novel, the making, and the edition's place in the volume.
  • An archive marker card — embossed, numbered, forming a permanent record of the edition.
