Oscar Wilde’s line:

Reconstructed from fragments cut directly from the pages of The Picture of Dorian Gray.

The original artwork takes Wilde’s words apart and rebuilds them from the novel itself — broken type, punctuation and empty spaces arranged across the surface of the page. The title and author are similarly fragmented, leaving the work somewhere between quotation, collage and interrupted text.

This fine art edition is reproduced from the original handmade papercut, retaining the texture of the printed page, cut edges and shadows of the individual fragments.
