Composed from a single page of Day of the Daleks, Exterminate is a study in repetition and return.

The Daleks have always represented more than a recurring enemy. In Day of the Daleks, they exist within a cycle of conflict in which cause and consequence become inseparable. The same events are replayed across time, each attempt to prevent the future only reinforcing it.

Cut directly from the page, the familiar silhouette emerges from the surrounding text, transforming narrative into icon while preserving fragments of the original story within the form itself. Beneath each edition, a unique word reconstructed from the discarded text serves as an individual archival fragment, ensuring no two works are precisely alike.

The work is hand-finished, hand stitched and mounted to black acid-free, black core mount board, allowing sections of the composition to lift subtly from the surface.
