Description & Technique
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas original, hand cut, papercut from Hunter S Thompson's novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I have used 4 pages including the title page to chapter 6 "Getting Down to Business...Opening Day at the Drug Convention."
I have hand cut letters to create the opening line of the novel, "We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold."
Book pages have been hand stitched to the giclee printed black background. This technique allows the artwork to hang free, giving life and depth, and allowing you to see the paper cut in all its fine detail.
