The Bell Jar papercut artwork. Cut using my Cricut paper cutting machine from 4 pages of Sylvia Plath's novel The Bell Jar. The fig represents the many life choices that Esther faces, and her inability to choose just one. I have hand cut letters from the page to create the line: "The Bell Jar".

The centre of the fig is raised and spreads out from the surface. This gives the artwork life and depth and allows you to see the paper cut in all its fine detail.

LIMITED EDITION

Limited to a run of only 500 editions. Each signed and numbered. Each artwork will use unique pages from Plath's novel so no two will be the same. Image is used for reference only.

POSTING

The artwork must be framed for posting. This is due to the fragile nature of the artwork. There is a free off-the-shelf acrylic frame which is adequate. However, I would recommend chooisng the hand made frames as these are professionally made wooden frames and are superior in quality.

Artwork is A3
Black background is giclee printed using Epson archival pigement inks.
Free acrylic frame or Professionally framed in a handmade, open grain, wooden box frame with glass (off-white or black)
Frame size is approx 44cm x 32cm x 4.5cm
